Hello!

My fancy pants wil hold office hours on Thursdays until the end of August starting next week. I’ve decided to do that in case questions come up in my classes. This gives folks an opportunity to chat outside of class if they’re so inclined. I’m also happy to talk with others about indie filmmaking and embodied breathwork since they’re connected.

Huh?

The more that I’ve continued to work through my own shit? I’m better able to hold space better for others.

I know! I know! I know!!

My mom hates phrases like “hold space”

Others feel more supported when they feel seen to be able to dig into their own process to make their own magic happen. Sure. Some folks want to you to tell them everything. I eventually cut folks like that loose. That time frame? Getting shorter.

Funny to be going down this rabbit hole in a post about office hours…

It’s more that most people know more than they realize.

And?

The more that I do my own work? I can see that clearer and clearer all the time.

All this has been profound in terms of digging into my characters for storytelling too.
