Hello!
I completed Level Two of Engaging Humor through Toastmasters.
And?
I did these first two levels in less than a year. How? I made the commitment to give a speech once a month whether I was ready for not. Most of the time? Not.
BUT BUT BUT
The practice of getting up in front of people? Beyond helpful.
I’m also a ways through Level Three. I had thought of putting Toastmasters on hold except it’s soooo incredibly easy to get stuck in my head when I hunker in. So very easy. The public reps are important.
That’s my reason for continuing to do the stand up open mics too. I’m slowly but surely improving
Dudes…
I must confess: Public speaking is still hard even though I had that breakthrough of letting go of my visceral feeling of believing myself to be awful. Such an easy trap to spring and reinforce.
My next steps are to work with more prepared comments and rehearsals. I’m beyond excited.
How about you?
Working on anything special that you want to share about?
As always: Have a glamorous day for fun!!
Brav0!!
