Fabulous Fridays: Intentional Space

Hello!

Yup. I post about doing a lot. And? There’s so much more that I don’t post about.

So… Why talk about intentional space?

It’s my reason for being in Montana. Billings in particular. Cuz? My mom started this pattern when I was seven years old. We moved to Great Falls following my parents’ divorce. Me? I’ve lived in Billings three times after I blew up my life in grand fashion EACH TIME. Repeat as necessary.

As the old saying goes: GO BIG OR GO HOME!!

Like seriously? How cares that I didn’t have the perfect career, perfect husband, perfect body, perfect house. etc. Excuse me while I vomit large chunks. Yes. I know some folks want that all the way. God be with you.

And?

God also knows I tried. Honest. I thought that would make me happy.

EXCEPT

Outsourcing my happiness to others? Such a load of bullshit. It’s also puts asinine pressure on the others around you. They’re not responsible for regulating your nervous system. It’s not your job to do that for others either. Nope. Not at all.

Yup. I’ve made the plan to leave Billings several times since returning in August 2024. Moving is a hard habit to break when you’ve lived in 10 states and the country of Mexico. And I lived in multiple places within them too. That knee jerk reaction has been slowing down since I don’t want to move for the sake of moving. It needs to be on purpose. Yes. Nashville is still on the horizon. Just don’t want to show up there being unprepared like I did with Los Angeles. This has absolutely pushed my time line. Totally fine too since I’ve been building up the indie filmmaking while slow walking the singing. No need to trash my voice before I get started in earnest.

Fun fact: I’m having fun playing with Patsy Cline’s music instead of doing it in the more serious and angst ridden style like so many other folks do.

It’s also my dream one day to cover: I Wanna be Your Dog from the Stooges. Not interested in trying to “out Iggy” Iggy like so many people try to do. I’m thinking more like adding an unhinged fiddle to the mix. Wouldn’t that be cool? For the record: My mom HATES this song. Of course this puts a spring in my step when listening to it.

Also about my fashionista quest? Even when I was beyond depressed wearing the outfit for at least three days? Heck? I also slept in those looks? I’ve never had panty lines. A girl’s got to have standards even at her lowest. Bahaha

How about you? Does any of this resonate with you?

As always: Have a glamorous day for fun!!
