I admit: I love hopping on my soap box whenever possible. Like seriously!?! I have some shit to say. Did you know that’s why Madonna got into singing? Not cuz she thought she was the best singer out there: Her message.

Well?

I’ve got some messages. Like a lot. A lot. A lot.

BUT BUT BUT

Are they really my messages to share? Am I taking on someone else’s message when I’ve got a shit ton of my own!?!

EXCEPT!?!

There are beyond sooooooooooooo many causes of the month, week, day and even news cycle. LIKE!?! Will they ever stop?

When what is at their core?

People want to be treated with diginity and respect. Most others want that for others too. Sure. There’s the occasional ass wanting death and destruction. Really???

They’re the expection rather than the rule.

Still… Even though I walked away from the catholic church? Yes. I believe they are more about social control than following Jesus’ s ideas of free will, unconditonal love, and not judging.

I digress.

Their version of the Lord’s Prayer? Talk about the idea: You are only forgiven to the extent that you forgive.

And?

People should get mercy when they deserve it the least

Since… We may think that we’re right. When others? Think we have our heads up our asses if not worse.

So? This is about living by a code. I’m not advocating that we tolerate abusive behavior. It’s more about sitting with: What is behavior? How do we define it? What happens when value judgments get attached? Are those judgments based on our conscious choices or social programming taught to us a bazillion years ago? How conscious are we of our choices?

Yes. I went down a bit of a rabbit hole. That was my reason for returning to Montana in August 2024. I’m sure that you’ve seen me flailing a bit while I’ve been working on figuring out the rest of my life. Absolute tall order.

And it’s the perfect frame of mind to write this latest draft of 3 Wishes. My original one was more about sense of my life at that time. Nope. I still haven’t made sense of life.

It doesn’t stress me in the way it once did.
