Hello!
I’ve talked about my necklace with the big ole B. Have I ever shown this marvelous gem from Paris Montana??
Yup. It’s simple enough. If you don’t know my name? You may assume that it starts with a B.
Sure. I’ve gotten some pushback when I acknowledged that it means “Bitch” when I wear it.
But most of the time? Smiles, relief, and even a few: “I should have thought of that.”
Cuz see…
The word “bitch” has long been used for a weapon against women. Like somehow we’re a bitch if we don’t shut up and comply. No. This isn’t true or every situation or even all the time.
EXCEPT…
I’ve had guys use it against me. They don’t merit being called dudes since that’s a term of endearment. Nope. It’s the whole thing of them thinking themselves clever by wielding that word. When in truth? It showed me their weakness.
So of course?
I can’t take them seriously. After all… They just sound like they’re whining. Tough stance for sure.
AND?
If someone must resort to name calling?
In the words of my mother: THEY LACK IMAGINATION.
Really and truly…
If that’s all they got? I’m happy to leave them to their own devices since slurs means that you’re done saying anything meaningful.
Maybe wearing a big “B” is too much for you.
Here’s a fun turn of phrase to consider when someone calls you something unsavory…
Do you have a point?
As always: Have a glamorous day for fun!!
