A friend of mine got me to think a lot about the moon cycles… Full and new. Yes. They also have nuances like how this recent full moon was the Blood Moon. My fancy pants happened to be awake to catch it last week. Here’s my little video. The blurry stripes in the photo and video are power lines.

But if you think about it… We naturally go from empty to full or full to empty depending on where you are in a cycle of something. It doesn’t matter what it is cuz there’s always a cycle. Why? We’re always evolving in some way. It’s big at times Small at other times. This creates a natural rhythm to follow.

And??

I’ve found this super helpful. Cuz?

I tend to super load myself when I put together projects. Yes. As much as I try to write or other projects on a regular schedule? I do better when I immerse myself in my projects. Burns me out for sure. BUT BUT BUT those big creative project downloads??? Game changers. Yup. “Game changers” is such a dumb cliche,

And yet?

They speak to what happens. And combining them with the moon cycle? This most recent moon cycle absolutely helped. It’s execution time now. Also very possible now that I have my schedule figured out. This is also potentially my move schedule.

In the meantime…

I’m here in Billings. My rent is half of what it will be when I move. I’ll also lose my second bedroom that is currently my studio and movie editing bay. So? Time to set me up while I can stay marginally employed. Slow and steady rather than blowing up my life before I head out.

And yup.

The moon cycles will help with me completion and release since each one is a clear deadline. Why not?? It’ll be fun.
