Hello all!
I posted last week about working with a candle for this group of 21 days. Dudes! I want to tell you about how I feel waves of tension leaving my body. It’s been incredible.
Yup. I’m just allowing my eyes to stick with the flame while my body relaxes. So very nice. Here’s this week’s video: Check In Video
An interesting thing? Some of my past experiences with candles have been super stressful. Like OMG!?! How will I keep up with the flame? So? I’ve been utilizing the practice of using my slower breath regardless of the flame speed. Such a gift while I build up my creative work.
An interesting idea that came to pass… I realized that there could be a third option beyond breathing with the steady regardless of the flame and regulated no matter the flame speed… You can also breathe faster. This can lead to a release in the way that those other two methods may not produce so quickly. Very cool!
How about you? Have you been working with breathwork or other practices to help ground you?
