Candle “Magic”

Candle “Magic”

Hellllooo!

I’ve been working with candles for a minute. What do I mean? I use them for a visual representation of my intentions. Huh?

I often used candles from the House of Intuition when I lived in Los Angeles. My favorites were the “Death” and “Tower” candles named after the Tarot cards. Yes. I’d stick in healing ones too along with “Break and Cut” candles. But I was mostly trying to strip away shit that didn’t work for me. A mistake around those candles was to burn so many of them in row rather than giving space to do their “magic.”

Cuz a vital part about working with any kind of intention? They need time to alchemize in your system. Some people call it metabolize. Others call it integrate. Whatever your word choice? It’s about giving yourself space to heal.

And that’s what this time since I left two years ago – it’s about healing cuz that wasn’t possible in the container of my marriage. No. I’m not going to trash on my marriage since parts of it worked for a long time. After all – Richard and I were together for a total of 14 years and turning either of us into the villain doesn’t speak to the complexity of what actually happened.

See… I don’t want to live anger for the rest of my life for anything that happened in my life. It feels so incredibly self-defeating. I know! I know! I know! The intensity of anger can be soooooooooo intoxicating except it’s not sustainable. Well, cuz? I’m building a life around things that lift me up rather than burn me down.

So? I’ve been using candles differently now… I’ve been writing my financial goals on my candles. It’s that I have my marker to write my financial goal and its due date all around the candle. Then? I left that candle burn. A thing that I also learned is to use a taper rather than to blow out the candle. Cuz blowing out the candle means you’re “blowing out” your money. I know that the may sound super cheesy except it’s really about being intentional.

I’m also intentional when I do things like breathwork and my sex magic rituals to help me release what needs to be released. So? I sometimes just burn plain candles to “clear the air.”

Absolutely marvelous!!

Do you use candles for anything?

As always: Have a glamorous day for fun!!
