I had my very first film fundraiser today!!! Yeah, baby!!
My sister Kim, my mom, and Chareese came. As my sister Heidi is coming back from Scotland, she’ll attend next time. We painted wishes. You can see our paintings in the photo. I love them all!!
And???
They’re going to be featured in our indie feature 3 WISHES.
Sure. I could bemoan not filling Bitterroot Sip and Paint.
BUT BUT BUT
We had fun. I also learned an absolute ton about putting together a fundraising event. Total success in my book.

We all start somewhere. My sister also gets an executive producer credit on 3 WISHES since she bought the tickets.
WAIT!!! There’s more: their paintings will be featured in 3 WISHES. Yup. They all contributed to the production design. Talk about cool.
Confession: I was so nervous that I burnt the cookie’s edges. They’re dairy free chocolate chip cookies with cinnamon. Butter doesn’t count towards dairy since it’s divine. I also served up the cookies in chunks on my cutting board. Good news? They turned out tasty.
We’re going to have more dynamic events in the future… Thinking about other fun ways to involve folks in the making of 3 WISHES and other films, Soooooooooooo very cool!!
