Hello!
As you may know, my fancy pants are preparing for production in October… 3 WISHES!!!
And?
I’m getting ready to refresh my camera skills. I also want to make them better.
BUT BUT BUT
I have a finite amount of time before we shoot.
So?
I’m going to use my stuffies to play around with shots. That gives me footage to play around with the all in one program called Resolve. Yes. I already have a foundation in all these areas. Dudes. My time at the East Los Angeles Skill Center? Game changer when it comes to post-production.
Cuz with a stuffie?
No need to compare calendars: They’re always available.
Talk about nice.
Just like I put all those B roll shots on my YouTube Channel earlier this year? I want to continue to improve my skill set. All these different experiences are teaching me better ways to build my film. I love this. It’s exciting.
Here’s what I’m thinking in terms of what’s called coverage for 3 WISHES:
I’ll use more traditional filmmaking with the family scenes. All bets will be off for the psych ward scenes. I played with the idea of awkward shots in my short PIECE OF MEAT to convey the awkwardness of the main guy. It’s gotten mixed reviews. I think that has more to do with how long it lasts more than the shot.
Very exciting stuff!
How about you? Have you come up with your own workarounds?
As always: Have a glamorous day for fun!
