And what is a driving force with so many stories????

Relationships.

And I’m of the mindset: We’re ALL in RELATIONSHIP with one and another. I wrote my first draft of this in January here. Someone got their panties all wadded up cuz they confused being “in relationship” with everyone have a romantic relationship with one another. Such a load of shit. My idea is more about being self-awareness to understand: OUR ACTIONS IMPACT OTHERS. This creates a “relationship” based on consequences or fallout. Sometimes those are amazing. Other times? Not so much.

The Ethical Slut examines every aspect of this since it cover all kinds of relationships including folks being asexual. I also truly love love love love this book.

So many different kinds of language like getting the unconscious to be conscious or become clear about your own expectations. Yup. It also talks about learning to communicate them rather than forcing others to be mind readers. Communication breakdowns like this? Story catnip.

As my body has let this book settle along with my trainings from Layla Martin not to mention all my embodiment practices? I’ve had about 50 or more story ideas come forward. Nope. I’m not going to write every one of them.

BUT BUT BUT that process of working through them all? Such a gift. My processes developed through that? The foundations for my beta writing class and producer script school. No. It wasn’t just the book and classes. I’d say it was more of the “perfect torm” cuz I’ve been collecting scriptwriting and indie filmmaking for decades. After my stint of putting together MY APOCALYPTIC THANKSGIVING along with 16+ short films, crewing on at least 10+ other projects of varying lengths without all making it onto my IMDb, my education, returning to a quiet life in Montana instead of running around Los Angeles? My system downloaded like a motherfucker. Such a fucking gift.

I’m still sitting with this wisdom. Yes. I’ve been applying its ALL my relationships in some capacity. Talk about super helpful. I’m beyond excited thinking about how this applies to my on set dynamics. VERY COOL.
