Hello!

I talked about releasing a poetry book on this Wednesday cuz it marks one year since my divorce was finalized

AND???

20 years since I was hospitalized for my psychotic break. Yes. It’s completely wild to me how those two events lined up on the very same day. Cuz both radically changed my life.

Not the events themselves. HOW I HANDLED THEM.

As I’ve got over 500 poem to process??? I originally thought it would be two books cuz I have high standards.

Turns out?

I have three books – those in that space of being ALMOST.

Cuz others are down right stinkers.

After I finish this first pass? I’ll dig through each pile again to discover if I have enough for a full book or a chap book.

It’s also been listening to my Spotify playlist that I’ve been building since I left my marriage on January 21, 2024. I haven’t figured out how to share this list yet. But I will when I do. Such a mix from such a pivotal time in my life.
