I’ve been thrashing about this challenge for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ass time: embodiment work and indie filmmaking are separate.

BUT BUT BUT

Are they for real?

Cuz dudes!?!

The more my fancy pants use my embodiment tools?

I get cleaner and clearer stories.

Priceless!!

They also tend to focus on mental health and invisible disabilities.

So?

Why compartmentalize? How come I must torment myself by building up several brands at once instead of slowly rolling them out at their own time????

AND CONFESSION…

I’ve always thought the name Renew Release is too woo woo for me…

EXCEPT

I thought if I said it enough that it would stick in my head to be reasonable.

Nope.

WAIT!?! There’s more:

I chose Darkness and Joy Productions for my indie film company cuz I went through my darkness to find my joy. This speaks to my soul in the way the very pleasant: Renew Release does not.

Why yes…

I’m going to roll out my embodied breathwork albums under my Darkness and Joy company. This will be the only company outside of my personal brand. Fuck it – time to simplify.
