Hello!

I taught my second section of producer script school today.

And?

As I was beyond sick the week prior, I spun. Most of it was productive cuz I’m basically trying to breakdown almost 30 years worth of information into bite size pieces.

Yup.

I knew movies are magic with Raiders of the Lost Ark.

And I wrote that script when I was at the University of Montana about Machiavelli and Dante meeting in Florence after their deaths.

BUT BUT BUT

It was in 1998 when I first read my mom’s unpublished book that my fancy pants went…

I want to write movies for real.

So?

I’ve been slowly but surely collecting information ever since.

Wait!?! There’s more…

I turned my Los Angeles short film sets into teaching sets and mentored folks…

And I knew???

It’s time sort through it all to distill it rather than just rattle around in my head.

Now you know why I’ve committed to beta test Producer Script School for four quarters with three classes per week:

I’m giving myself plenty of opportunities to test drive how to explain things. As I’m also putting together at least one microbudget in the course of this time, I’ll be able to bring deeper knowledge the longer that I run Producer Script School.

My little image is to speak about what people think about producers.

My final note for today?

I’m so grateful for my students. They gave me their time. Such a gift.
