I posted back in December about completing my first Toastmasters speech. And I pushed myself to give at least one speech a month since then.

I’ve not only completed my level one for Toastmasters…

I’m just about 25% done with level two.

Here’s the thing…

Cuz yes!?!

There’s a thing…

I’ve been absolutely terrified with all this public speaking and standup.

TO SAY THE LEAST!?!

Why yes…

Trolling that fear is my reason for doing it.

Nope.

The earth didn’t swallow me up. World didn’t end either.

BUT BUT BUT

I’ve left a lot of people confused in my wake.

Confession:

I would overwhelm myself with details since I talk about things near and dear to my heart.

Things that I’ve spent years and even decades studying.

I love that Producer Script School will give me the opportunity to work on distilling my knowledge into bite size pieces. The good news? I’ve already been working hard at this process. Also? Finding jokes whenever possible. I also never go over my time for my longer speeches. Table topics? If at all? A few seconds. Great practice!!

Well, dudes???

That’s nasty stuff that I’ve been fighting?? Getting worse.

So?

I’m going to bed early.
