I’m posting a tad later cuz my ass went to the DMV first thing. Oh joy!

Here’s the thing though…

I’ve gone back and forth about building in a “will they? won’t they?” relationship like so many other stories. A few decades ago? Heck! The last decade?? I wouldn’t have thought twice: A dynamic like that would have been the cornerstone of my ENTIRE story.

BUT BUT BUT

I’m now processing what I think a relationship would look like going forward. Cuz I was family and partner oriented when I married my now ex-husband.

AND NOW?

The rest of my life is now saying: I’M SICK OF WAITING ALREADY!?!

See… a nuclear family with two parents and 2.5 kids were held up to be the model while I grew up. Sure. The woman’s lib movement started in the Sixties

EXCEPT

Social changes like that take generations and decades to become fully integrated within society. Like I remember hearing about girls looking to get a “Mrs.” degree when getting my first undergraduate degree in the Nineties. STILL.

And now that I’m single again? Dudes!? Dating has changed an absolute ton while some aspects have stayed the same. I talked a little bit about my dating adventures in older posts. Nope. I haven’t added more experiences since I’m looking to head out of Billings in the relatively near future.

My next stop will be where that real fun begins.

So?

Miranda will have flirtations of both sexes. Just for fun. If it develops to more??? It’ll be part of the story rather than the driving force. More to follow next week.
