You may not realize: I put that gold frame on the floor. Cuz? It also looks like it could be on a wall. And a shout out to my sister Kim? It appears to have several bottom lines. What is the “right” one?

Yup. That’s the bigger piece with today’s post:

Thinking about how things are framed.

I just recently heard a reaction where the person called “mindset” a “woo woo phrase.”

And?

That person calling it the woo woo phrase doesn’t realize that it’s the modern term of confidence and self-esteem.

Why does this random person’s opinion matter? Cuz I’m always thinking about how my words are translated. I feel like this is my responsibilty being an artist. Sure. Some folks will twist my words to their own liking. How do I know this? Cuz I’ve done the same shit at different times in my life.

Yup.

It all but almostly always blew up in my face. This is especially true the more that I doubled down. Why yes… It’s so much easier to double down than admit: I don’t know and ask for clarification. This is the method behind my post about the problems with paraphrasing. Really and truly this bit about not admitting ignorance? Far bigger problem that creates a shit ton of damage from its far all out?? Any doubts? How many wars are happening at any given moment? Internally or externally?

See…I talk from lived experiences on all sides since I refuse to perform perfect for you all. It’d be a lie along with being boring as fuck, Like seriously!?! Who wants to be perfect ALL THE TIME?????? Sounds exhausting and DULL. No. I don’t chase drama for the sake of drama.

Also as I get older?

The easier and easier it’s getting to let the drama bypass me rather than allow it to suck up my marrow. Such a relief. Totally lets me have more bandwidth for my real work… My various forms of art and embodiment.
