Hey all!

I ran around getting some B roll footage for my upcoming indie feature 3 WISHES a few months ago. As I was reviewing the footage, I came across this video of my poster set up. Video Totally unexpected and cool!!

I got it in various places throughout Billings along with I-90 headed east towards Hardin.

AND!?!

I got some visually interesting shots. Billings has things like refineries and a skate park. I often joke about the women’s prison being next to the visitors center on the way into town.

BUT BUT BUT

That’s kind of refreshing cuz it is what it is.

Here’s also a diferent reality about Billings: it’s Montana’s largest s-city with various social services

EXCEPT like most “cities”

The demand exceeds the supply. I’ve also heard a rumor about having what’s called “Greyhound Therapy.” Other locations within Montana get bus tickets to send folks to Billings when they don’t have services. If you have doubts, feel free to wander around downtown to see the growing homeless population.

I’m thinking about how all this plays out in relation to my story since it’s about tackling mental health in Montana. I’m particularly interested in how this plays out in Eastern Montana cuz it’s got a ton of wide open spaces outside of Billings.
