Getting Wild!!! HUH!?! That’s TAME!!

Getting Wild!!! HUH!?! That’s TAME!!

Hello!

It’s soooooooo funny. Back when I was young… Yes! Dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Bahaha!!

Just kidding!!.

“Wild” meant partying with booze and red lipstick.

Now? It means making movies, singing, in public and doing standup.

So? The old “wild” me was about checking out in style. Now??? I’m finally putting myself out there.

And?

I feel soooooooooooo much freer. The next morning? No hangovers anymore. Very delightful.

Before?

I also didn’t do much in the way of preparing before I did shit. Like when I went to live in Mexico? Too many suitcases and a bilingual dictionary. As for my level of Spanish back then? Toddlers know more. Okay. It wasn’t that bad.

BUT BUT BUT

It wasn’t that good either. EXCEPT? Being homeless in Mexico? Prepared me to manage being homeless light in Los Angeles during 2024. Yup. Sometimes piss poor planning can have good benefits later on.

Why share this?

Cuz dudes!?! I realized that I was up to my old ways of doing things when it came to announcing my Nashville move.

Nope.

I’m not backing down. Just slowing down since I acknowledge that I imposed an artificial deadline. For what?? as my life has been spent moving instead of visiting??? The knee jerk reaction? Move not pace.

Here’s the thing: rooms in Nashville will be a helluva lot more competitive than here in Billings. Absolutely bring it on!!! I’m excited about that.

And I also know? I’m in my awkward stage. I’m better off to do my reps here first cuz I’ll get more stage time. My rent is half of what it will be when I get to Nashville for a much smaller space. So? This marginally employed bit? Not possible until I get a bunch of revenue streams set up.

It comes down to something that my ex-husband Richard said a ton: People either have a lot of time or a lot of money. Rarely both at the same time.

Wait!!! There’s more – you may have thought that I’m giving up writing and filmmaking when I announced about the singing. Again with the nope. As all these require flexibility and mental real estate, you know the method to my desire for coaching. If I have a more traditional “big” job, it’ll suck all my energy to do anything but that job. Yes. Lots of folks strive having one main job. Absolutely cool! Totally not me.

What if??? That’s more like you too?? I know that may sound strange EXCEPT society has incredible conditioning about focusing down to master only ONE thing. Dudes!! Those old T-shirts claining to be a “one size fits all????” Never did.

Maybe… Just maybe… You’ve wanted to do more than one thing. Try it cuz it creates breathing room while you’re a little wild.

As always: Have a glamorous day for fun!!
