Helllllllllllloooo!

Dudes. I’m late today cuz I slept in this morning.

And?

It was GLORIOUS!!!

Why yes… I talked about things like sex magic rituals and breathwork to help me get more grounded and regulated. Today? We’ll talk about knitting cuz it also helps ground.

How can knitting help? It’s a repetitive motion for your hands to free your mind. My grandma taught me how to do it forever ago. My left handed knitting with double threads and thick knitting needles used to drive her crazy. Grandma was a “proper” knitter..

What do I mean by double thread?

I take each end of the yarn from the scan. The outside one is easy to find. Fishing for the one in the middle can sometimes be a pain. BUT BUT BUT I’m not deterred. I tie them in a loop and BOOM! Knitting.

I stick with blankets and scarves. Nope. I don’t want to pay attention anymore than I do. Having to count stitches on the continual? No thanks. Seriously. It’s just sooooooo awesome to let my mind wander. It gets refreshed to do other more cognitive tasks. Some great story ideas have come up while knitting. It’s also comforting cuz it reminds me of Grandma Alma. She was a saucy pants if there ever was one. Great role model.
